Slightly mis-leading as these aren't "AiO" systems at all. I think the majority of AiO radiators are aluminum.

Bykski using leaded solder... not surprising... I guess I'll be more careful with mine :)

Nothing surprising about the results. Companies like Aquacomputer and watercool are usually my go to for consistent quality

Using leaded solder in heating and cooling is pretty common. One of the main reasons is soldering at lower temps. I used to keep a roll on hand all the time but it's banned in Canada now because someone could accidentally use it on potable water pipe.

Lead will not adversely affect the heating or cooling system if inhibitor is present nor is it poisonous unless you lick it.

By the way guys.. brass is VERY common in heating and cooling. Like always. The only thing that causes corrosion is oxygen. Get rid of the oxygen in the system, add a little inhibitor, and corrosion goes away.

If an AIO was cleaned properly and filled with zero oxygen water/glycol mix or some sort there would never be corrosion.

I think that's the major problem here. EK, Enermax, and Thermaltake all had problems with gunk and clog which I believe came down to the fluid inside. If we can't trust the contracted mfg to fill them correctly to avoid gunking, then why would I trust them to fill with the correct mixture to prevent corrosion with brass?

The AIO that was dropped off for me to tear into... whole thing is green inside pump seized because of it.

Honestly I avoid the raw copper stuff anyways as I have been running aluminum radiators for over 20 years. It's why I care about the quality of the plating
