Well, here I am thinking about the move to a 4K TV already. I'm just trying to determine what the market would be for my Alienware OLED Ultrawide (AW3423DWF). Still under warranty, immaculate condition, still have the case/accessories and the stand has never even been used. What would be a fair price?

I feel like the ATL price (after various coupons/cashback) was around $650? Any signs of burn-in yet (even if minor)? My almost 1yr old Samsung G85SD does from where I keep my browser window typically, but you don't see in normal usage. Only there on full greyscale screens.

I have zero burn-in of any kind. I've been running maintenance pixel refreshes religiously on it and it's perfect.

Now to buy a 4K TV from Costco and test it out. To make sure that 4K isn't an absolutely terrible idea. I need to buy one for the kitchen anyway, so I'll test it on the PC first.

Can't believe I spent $1800 on mine when it came out.
Ha same. Except in the end I got like $450 off because I had opted for 0% finance. And they wanted to close out accounts. So they gave discounts if you did that.

Even at 1800 its been a fantastic monitor imo. I wouldn't trade it for a tv personally. Not for pc use.

You may know already, but I run 43" 4K for my PC, monitor not TV. It is absolutely not a terrible idea :) I made the same move from ultrawide to 4K 16:9.

For me it's about the productivity level vs my current setup which is an 'over/under' withe a 1440p 27" over a 1440p ultrawide. For gaming I'm sure it'll be great. I'm just hoping quad zones on a 4K works for me.

I have my 4K as my main, and a 21.5" 1080p above it. You are going to be looking higher to see the top one, but it works great for me for work. I don't use zones in my 4K, but I do run it at native resolution, no DPI scaling, and zoom individual apps if necessary.
