OK, raise your hand if you've seen "Miracle on 34th Street." Remember that scene where the prosecution is trying to declare Santa Claus certifiable? Do you also remember how necessary it was that the lawyers be able to cite an unquestionable authority (a psychologist) capable of declaring Santa Claus medically unfit for duty?
