amazon fire7/8 tablets are really only good for young kids. I thought Kindle were just E-readers cause my wife has one and loves it

I dunno... everyone moving away from standardization and introducing proprietary IP in the computing world doesn't feel like it's a good thing. however, getting cocky and alienating your customer base because you're the parent of a tech that became the standard is no good either.
