Well, That's disappointing (not the review, the results of the review). Glad I didn't go buy that gigabyte 990FXA UD7 I was thinking about. I hope my current old beast can make it to the SB-E release.

Nevermind. Bulldozer is so bad even Meme generators don't wanna generate a caption for it.

I guess my intentions of upgrading this Phenom II rig just got killed. Time to use this for another 5 years.

yes very disappointing to say the least. I was pretty shocked actually, in my opinion it's worse than what is in my case now! (1090T @ 4Ghz).

Darn. I bought my crosshair V especially for a dozer and now it seems pointless.

Nice review MAC. However, the two benches I was looking for mainly are missing/omitted: Folding and SPECviewperf (SPECviewperf was even listed as benchmark, or was that a typo?)

Edit: I just read SKY's post on the matter of Folding...so never mind.

It really needed to be cheaper than the 2500k by a significant margin.

besides, most things are multithreaded these days anyways.
