I'm not regretting grabbing the 5950x while it was dirt cheap at all. 5800x -> 5800x3d didn't make sence but 5800x -> 5950x did at the prices they were going for.

Edit: it means most of the 7000 series doesn't interest me except the 7950x and well yeah not at these prices

Plus you have Intel's launch into the GPU market (October 12) with their ARC A700 which starts at $329.00, which sports 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Intel is claiming "that every card in the Arc A700 series punches back at Nvidia's 18-month-old RTX 3060." But nobody has independent tests yet that I've seen.

YMMV situation. Sometimes they will, sometimes they won't. Phone support may be more willing on average.
