I can't believe the power draw on this card. It's just nuts.

Usually when the refine designs and tinker you tend to get something better. This thing is just not something I see being widely adopted.

AMD, I really hope you have a rabbit to pull out in 2019.
I am a Nvidia guy but I hate the market dominance they have right now. (It's sad when I am hoping Intel can do something to step up in AMD's place)

That is what I was feeling, but I didn't want to appear too negative about AMD's offerings.

I'd really like them to give us a good alternative to NVIDIA but even at mid-range this still doesn't feel "right" to me somehow.

Pretty much agree. At the right price it’s fine, but given the 580 is already competitive fps wise I would have rathered if it was an rx 580v2 or rx 585...keep the 580 clocks and lower the power draw a bit with the minor die shrink.

Even all gpu price is so high... and of course it's not right. I dont think their price will get lower next years probably because of production cost and miner.


Worst part about 590 is too similar to 580 but little overclock version.

Dont all 3 seem like a more overclocked version than the other.
