discussion AMD RX 9070 GPU no show

Basically, AMD's keynote didn't say much about the 9070 line up beside stating the XT and no XT version is coming out. MLID suspect it's because AMD got cold feet and want to see what Nvidia is announcing regarding prices. In the slide deck from AMD, the RX 9070 line is meant to cover RTX 4070S to TI and their own RX 7800 XT to RX 7900 XT.

AMD issued a statement saying the 45 minutes they had was not enough time to cover everything RX 9070 / XT and they will have an event later in Q1 2025 to go over it. but yeah, I suspect it was a wait and see what Nvidia does, move too.

Paul's Hardware showed some Powercolor cards but still can't talk about specs and pricing.

Seems like if you have a 7900xtx... there won't be much reason to switch but guess we need to know more
