The price isn't too insane but more concern about the PSU replacement. These type of company may not last forever and using a proprietary PSU just spells trouble down the line.

Perfect? Not really...
Even for an APU -only case, zero airflow outside that of a low profile downdraft is going to mean a Hot little system or a Loud little system. Also, that PSU looks like TFX.. but isn't? Weird to not use a standard(ish) PSU form factor when you're proprietary one seems about 90% similar? Maybe it's got a weird cable exit or fan placement... will read the full article on it's specs later.

I've got a couple of cases already that I'm deciding between for either a 8700G APU build or the new gen -G processor... if one comes out, and IF (note the Big IF) it's not insanely expensive.

why does it concern you? considering the size of the chassis, it only had 3 places to go. any reason the other two spots would be better? the company has a large selection of chassis available, so I'm not sure how 'new' they are to have such a catalog; it could just be more like little penetration in the NA market.

we won't find out if the airflow is good or bad, but from what I'm seeing, being the case is so small, once you install something like a Thermalright AXP90-X53 Slim, it would act almost duct like and vent out the sides. I sure wish Thermalright had an AXP120 that was lower than 67mm though, but alas, I haven't found one. :p

Dominating might be a stretch. They certainly are the popular topic lately. I don't have hands small enough for that nonsense 😂

You misread my comment. I said replacement not placement. Looking at the picture on their website, the PSU is made by FSP but it is a custom unit. Notice how the PSU isn't a proper rectangle but a notched brick. It's an interesting design and it looks like it makes building a machine extremely simple. I wouldn't put high wattage CPU in this thing because there's really only 1 side of the case where the heat can vent. The other vent is via the PSU's fan.
