IMO, APU graphics isn't quite there yet. If I can get similar to 4060Ti level of graphics in the APU then it would be great. I can see this thing living in a rec room or media room with a short throw projector. As for PSU, I think a DC-ATX power supply like this thing would be fine. Just have to plug in a laptop power brick to the back.

if the Ryzen Strix Halo Ai 395 APU is ever available to diy that apu graphics will be insane waiting on Minisforum to drop it in a bundle lol.

YES!!! it will take a while for that powerful an iGPU to trickle down into the mainstream and more affordable CPU, but here we are, an integrated GPU that is pointing to have RTX 3060 level performance.
I've always been a guy that buys solid mid-range parts...but back in 2017 I bought an i7-6700 and while it definitely was showing age when I stopped using it about a year ago, it could still do everything, albeit slowly a lot of the time, I demanded of it. that's a solid run for a CPU from almost 10 years ago. I am going to drop Linux on it soon and that should make for really good computing once more!
I digress...what I am trying to say is that I rarely ever buy first gen cutting edge tech, but I am sure excited and psyching myself up to have teh gumption to piss my wife off, sleep on the couch for the rest of my life, and buy something with the Ryzen AI 9 Max+ 395...ooor maybe the 385 / 390.
i want one to build a nice Linux Box still kicking myself for selling off my 7900XTX for $1000 if id kept it a few months longer it doubled in price.
