my "C" drive in my WHS, died again. this time it was one of those nasty older seagates (500GB).
fortunately i had file duplication turned on so everything is still there.
the server wouldnt turn on, so i went through the drives, hooked them up one at a time, and 8 of the 9 were detected. none of them booted up so the only one that could not be detected must be the O.S. drive. i deliberately made it one of the 500 GB drives.
anyway, would a Western Digital 500gb Black be a good replacement?
sorry to drone on.
