So, i'm sort of strapped for cash at the moment, i was just wondering if this psu is any good and is capable of powering the rig i have listed in my profile ? (right now im using one that can't power it if i have my video card in )

Alrighty, right now i'm employing a coolermaster extreme power 500w, so say with the antec if i were to up from a 9800GTX+ to say a 5770 should i still be ... safe?
No OC's what so ever.

A 5770 should consume less power than a 9800GTX+.

I'm using a 500w Antec and running a Phenom x2 550 + 5770 both overclclocked so should be fine, though I can't speak for that specific model, a 550 should be plenty capable.
And yes, a 5770 would need less juice than a 9800.

its a decent mass produced unit, nothing special,gets the jobbe done. inside i hear its ok components wise, so under normal conditions it shouldnt burn out any easier than ocz etc.
