Anyone Else Updated to Lollipop?

Well well, I was so disappointed about lolipop so far..my nexus 4 was slow as hell and the battery life sucked after the update.

I finally did a factory reset and wow, now it's all good again!

Yep, unfortunately a factory reset is usually in order on phones these days after a major update.

I like the new Keyboard. Also that they allow to add users is really nice. Right now I only got a Nexus 4 with Lollipop, but a Moto G 2 is on its way. Also I can't wait for my Sony Z2 to get the update.

I also have a Nexus 4 but installed a custom rom before LP, called Liquid Smooth and I am very happy with it. In general custom roms allow for a lot of minor changes/tweaks that otherwise are not possible on the official versions. But no LP for me for the moment. Installing a free app called Nexus 4 LTE modem flasher allowed me to get LTE working with both Videotron and Bell Mobility so I am happy on that part, but for the moment I fell back on a Galaxy S III, I like the screen a lot more than the N4.

I don't think it's even available on my G3 right now and even if it were I'd probably wait a while. There always seems to be a fair amount of issues whenever a major update is released so I always hold off. I don't think that's any different with Iphone's either as I remember having lots of issues with updates. It's just par for the course.

The leaked Samsung Lollipop releases are rather bad. Ended up going back to a 4.4.4 rom on my Note 3. Hopefully by the time they do an actual release Priority/interrupts/blocking mode is fixed. Until then I'll stick with Kitkat.

Not yet for me. I finally had to replace my rapidly decaying GS3 and picked up an Xperia Z3. Since it's brand new, I'll just wait for the official release. In a year or two, I'll probably root and start running custom Roms and keep more up to date.

Hopefully it'll be decent. I can't believe how good the battery life is on the Z3, so seeing that diminish would be a little disheartening.

Well leaks are leaks for a reason I guess. Curiously, what ROM do you use?

GS3 isn't that old .. That being said I've had better luck running CM10.1 on the S3 rather then anything more recent, but honestly it's rock solid.
