it's not actually clipped on, but most of them use a friction / compression fit to secure to the desk...rather than the pain in the arse job of screwing them in underneath. this VIVO is an example of what I'm talking about.
I agree. Another option is your chair isn’t well suited to your desk IMO.Keyboard trays are the core of evil. Either desk it too low and you smash into the tray or the desk is too high making the tray the right height but the better solution is fixing the desk height so it isn't neccessary.
yeh, I'm gonna be putting my desk on some 4x4 blocks. that should boost it enough to use a tray. if i need more, then I'll screw a chunk of 2x4 for another couple inches.Keyboard trays are the core of evil. Haha. Our current cats don’t do that, but our previous cat did. Always funny.edit - I should add the reason I'm looking at this is our rescue keeps wanting to sit in front of me and when he does that I can't type...so, get a tray and he gets to sit in front of me...win-win!![]()
You do know that the cat will just want to sit on the keyboard tray right?edit - I should add the reason I'm looking at this is our rescue keeps wanting to sit in front of me and when he does that I can't type...so, get a tray and he gets to sit in front of me...win-win!![]()
Would you care to share a pic of your gaming PC set up? Trying to visualise how it would all look for me. No problem if you'd rather not.I'm kinda partial to the finish on this one......
As far as using them goes.... I use one on my work station full time, and have a setup similar to the one Lysrin mentioned on my gaming PC.
