I've been thinking hard and think having something setup for copy / paste would be very Very VERY useful for me.
Yes, I used to use a USB foot pedal switch primarily for Press to Talk for online games. Still have 2 of them. No longer available at Amazon. The version I used is only a single switch but there was a 3 peddle switch that are still available at Amazon.I've been thinking hard and think having something setup for copy / paste would be very Very VERY useful for me.
I have thought of that...but moving my hands off home row would interfere with my typing cadence, so thinking about how I can utilize my jittery feet that never stop moving (ADHD).A Macro keyboard and set the macro keys as copy/paste as needed might be more convient than the foot pedal. I understand your pain on those kinds of shortcuts though as I often work on a mac but remoted into windows and the shortcuts are not identical between OS's
But you still have select whatever it is you are going to copy and paste. That is going to cause some disturbance in your home row position, or if you want to keep your non-mouse hand on home row, then I'll point you back to my previous comment about binding copy and paste to mouse buttons.I have thought of that...but moving my hands off home row would interfere with my typing cadence, so thinking about how I can utilize my jittery feet that never stop moving (ADHD).
that's why I thought of foot pedals...aside from them bouncing with nervous energy all day, using them wouldn't interrupt my typing cadence...I would just need to adapt and learn how to copy / paste fast enough to keep up.But you still have select whatever it is you are going to copy and paste.
