Anyone with a GTX 1000 series card going to upgrade to the RTX 3000 series?

Just wondering if anyone besides myself going to upgrade to the new Gen cards coming out soon. I have a GTX 1080. Hoping these new cards will be worthy to upgrade to. I'll probably wait for AMD to tip their hand with big Navi. Anyone else excited?

I'm still on a GTX 960 2GB and looking forward to what's coming out. More interested in the 3060 and whatever AMD equivalent. I already seeing Sapphire Pulse 5600 XT dipping to $390 range.

1080 Ti @ 1440p... currently playing Far Cry 2 and GTA: Vice City, I should be good for awhile yet.

980 here that is screaming for an upgrade (barely holds it together at 1440p combined with an ancient CPU), but I am waiting for Zen 3 and will most likely do everything at once. That will give AMD a chance on Navi2 And for third party cards to hit as well.

Plan is a 3070 unless pricing gets stupid this time

I have a 1080 Ti and depending on the price/performance and my feeling at the moment I may upgrade. Looks like the 3070 might be as fast as the 1080 Ti so you would need at least a 3080 for a worthy upgrade. The 3080 should be 10-20% faster than a 2080 Ti.

Need to wait for reviews and price to make a decision. Right now almost every game I can run at max or near max settings at 3440x1440 but I am itching for an upgrade to my 3.5 year old GPU.
