Hi fellows,

I would like to use a desk arm to mount the AORUS FV43U 43" 144Hz 2160p it uses VESA Mounting Interface Standard – 200mm x 200mm.

What desk arms would be the best choice for a large monitor of this type, so I have the ability to move it horizontally and vertically safely? I do not want to use a cheap budget arm that barely works!

Thank you in advance,

CG

The one clshades mentioned should work since it max out at 22 lbs limit while your monitor is listed as 10lbs. I'm looking for a decent double or triple mount that works with my 34 inch.

Hi fellows,

Thank you for your input. I was considering the following Arm, what do you think? It seems to be retailing at $475, which is half the price of the monitor!!!

Well that's what you get buying an Ergotron. It looks like you don't have to adjust the arm manually and just pull and push as needed to adjust the height and position.

The screen is actually around 25lb, not 10! (I think they put KG in their specs). I have the same screen. I am using an amazon 100x100 to 200x200 adapter, and the Ergotron LX Wall Mount. The LX is only rated to 20lbs max, so I really had to max out the tension screws, but it works! My Mega Desk is complete with 2 x 22in 1080p Dell screens to the left.

I quite like my FV43U, but I haven't ever really considered mounting it given its size and the fast that its legs don't really claim much desk real estate. But it is interesting to see what you guys are cooking up. All my previous monitors I've mounted on arms.

I was tempted to mount the FV43U to be able to flip it upside down and change the BGR to RGB to make the text readability a little better, as some people recommend online. However that does apparently mess up adaptive sync.

Interesting about the upside down note, I've not thought to try that haha. The text quality doesnt bother me, I guess I sit far enough away not to notice. Ya I didnt have to mount it, but I had the mount there already from another screen, so figured why not! DO NOT use a 3D printed adapter (lol... I made my own, I thought it would be strong enough.... lasted a few months though!). I got very lucky that the screen didnt get destroyed. I did have to pull off the LCD panel and backlight panel as it was messed up, but I managed to fix it miraculously.
