if this is any indication of what to go buy, the naming scheme is going to be very different from previous and not make much sense in comparison.

Interesting. Although a bit wordy. I never liked overloading X### . This is something Intel got kinda right, single letters -- X for HEDT, Z for top consumer, B for mainstream, C for commercial/server. Of course they also went all Intel and made too many of them.
