Crap, I spoke too soon. My i7-860 just got a small WU (250,000 steps) and has bogged down. Where I was getting about 1% every 4 minutes (about 7 to 8 hours for medium WUs), I'm now down to 1% in 13–14 minutes and it will be another 22 hours before the current WU is finished. At least it's running 100% on all 4 cores.

I'm speculating that it's an A1 unit. Those things suck and reduce the PPD to around 1/6th to 1/8th.

What a good time for this to be happening.

Damn, I just noticed that 4 of the 8 i7-860's folding under chimps currently on my bench are doing the single core beta core WUs :angry2:
