If we do make sure you do SLI benchmarks :biggrin::biggrin: (curious to see how hydra does on SLI scaling)

well well its out. usually on the amd side of things you get a mobo under the 200 dollar mark, but this one broke the egg shell. go hydra tech go? :) awaiting in house review.

So, this basically takes the one main reason to buy AMD (price/performance) and tosses it out the window.

I honestly don't see any reason to buy this motherboard, unless you're upgrading a current AM3 rig. New system builds would be better off looking at i5/i7 rigs for that price.

I am pretty sure I'll be buying an AMD system in the next month because of this motherboard. There just isn't any Intel boards w/ the same features + the Lucid chip.

I'm in agreement with lowfat. Although it still remains to be seen, the cross-platform GPU setup could be a serious game changer. I'd certainly be interested to see what happens when a 5870 Eyefinity setup has a GTX480 running along side it to contribute horsepower and PhysX. I know lucid's been toyed with before, but if this MB gets it right... well, we'll just have to see.
