The ROG handheld PC is real and Asus announced it in the worst way
Asus announced its handheld gaming PC as an April Fools joke then left it to sit for a couple days before revealing the truth.

Turns out Asus it making a real Steam deck competitor. Potentially interesting, though I think the circle dpad and no trackpads is a miss.
Not sure using windows in that form factor is really an advantage over SteamOS though. Performance hit from Windows may counter the higher specs to a degree, even if compatibility is greater.
