The Republic of Gamers series from ASUS has always been known for being among the best in the industry and the Rampage motherboards are at the their forefront. The new Rampage III Extreme will soon be released and will represent one of the highest-end motherboards on the market. In this preview we take the board out for a spin with some extreme cooling in tow.

I must admit, one of these would look good in the case that Bill is building for HWC. ;)

Great looking board, and a ton of neat features that nobody will ever really need, unless you're Jody of course :p. Wait, I don't even think he has a cell phone IIRC lol.

But yeah it's really too bad you got a dud chip. Bitch at Intel and see if you can get one from a better batch :).

yeah, the board is loaded with stuff that i can actually use, but even more stuff i can't. it's got some pretty interesting stuff on it though. as much as i hate saying positive things about ASUS software, the ROG Connect stuff is pretty damn handy and cool.

as for the chip, it isn't really a dud, for the volts and temps it is pretty solid...just the cold bug is holding it back huge. i am more interested in working with the ASUS guys on alleviating cold bug issues more than getting a different chip :thumb:
