During the Panel From Hell, they revealed a lot of details. (Well worth watching) Introduction to Minsc voice actor. Both Jaheira and Minsc can be companions (or enemies!). If a Paladin breaks a promise or other action compromises it's class, there's a possible hidden Paladin sub-class that opens up after a dialogue.
Totally revised action/reaction system can be ignored or spells countered
Level 5 with level 5 spells - they showed quite a few. Finally you can meet the Githyanki at level 5 but it's still challenging from their play-through.
Zombies. Some classes/spells can raise the dead. Patch 9 will be the last major update before final release.

1st impressions. Struggled to clear out the old mods and get a few working. Larian again changed some file locations. Install a couple of basic, essential mods that aid other mods before doing anything. No problems running the base game - made a save at the start. Installed one patch 9 updated mod and reloaded but the mod (carryweight) didn't work. Started a new character and all was fine. Added 2 more updated mods without issue.

Sound is much better along with visuals. That was never mentioned in the Panel from Hell, nor have I come across anyone that has mentioned it. Still on the ship checking out what's the same and what's different. Will play to the Druid's grove and see how it goes. Then I may do a custom party of 2. Sort of curious about the Paladin class.

BG3 just keeps getting better and better.

Alternating with other games like HZD, I've already started a slow play through of BG1 EE again. Then on to BG2 trying to time it for August. And of course, dipping into the Early Access to try out different character classes & races.

I think BG3 is going to have an amazing amount of replay value - I still haven't tried all the races with all the classes.

I expect with Amazon's offer along with this trailer that we'll see more PC mods coming out soon as well.

Watching the release trailer again I notice:

@ 0.33 mark - the controls shown are for Playstation & it will be released for PC, PS5 & Mac the same day.
@ 1.04 it's split screen (Playstation) indicating 2 can play co-op - guessing on the same console (not sure about PC)

Baldur’s Gate 3 will also support cross-save progression between PC, Mac and PS5

They've upped the PC requirements but I should be okay even with my older PC (plays very well now).

Huge download - disk space required: 150 GB!

Was early access ever available at a reduced price? I feel like if it was I would have likely bought it by now. Maybe it wasn't.
