yes i was reading that,,if true they deserve huge fine or charges of some sort.

Military aircraft, including a Black Hawk helicopter that operates at a cost of more than $4,600 US per hour, participated in the rescue efforts for about three hours.

Its a good thing they didn't find him in the balloon as this would've ended a lot differently. If he'd actually been trapped within a helium filled balloon, he'd have suffocated within minutes. It would've been likely that by the time anyone had heard about it he'd have already been dead.

During an interview with CNN on Thursday, Falcon said he had heard his family calling for him from his hiding spot but didn't come out. When his parents asked why, Falcon answered, "You had said that we did this for a show."
The parents didn't ask Falcon what show he was referring to and when reporters questioned Heene about the comment, he adamantly denied the notion that the whole thing was a publicity stunt.
