Hello,
I purchased a second Ser8 8745hs for my wife, but it's been running a bit hot—40°C at idle, and some games make it reach 85°C. Is there a way to increase the fan speeds or diagnose the cause? For example, AC Valhalla runs at 65°C on my Ser8, but hers hits 80°C.

Are they the exact same model and with the same bios setting for power?

Nothing wrong with 80 in a system like this overall.

I have seen a lot worse on other systems, in such a tiny format pc, those temps are normal.

You could open it and change the thermal grease, but is it worth it?

If there is no shutdown or bluescreen, it's urgent to do nothing.
