true...but I my point was that the Tesla T4 is compared to a GTX 980 Ti, not a GTX 1080. semantics, just wanted to head off any confusion if someone got all hopeful and excited and then body slammed into reality, s'all.

Hi, i attached photo of psu label on the 280 watt presently in the hp...the second photo is a pic of the specs from manual of the 460 watt spare atx non modular psu....i could possibly use that with that refenced adapter from ebay?...i don't get how the power from the individual voltage rails add up to 460 watt...for instance the 12v x 33 (amps) gives you 396 watts, but combined power for 3.3 and 5 volt is 200 watt. This adds up to 596 watts, no?. Also refurbisher acknowledged their mistake and will partially refund me $20 (laughable) OR give me 100% refund with returned computer (shipping prepaid by them)...not sure which route to take (the specs are still pretty sweet for this hp (paid $430) despite psu sour aftertaste, thanx

That referenced 24 pin to 6 pin adapter describes it for hp z220 to z240....will it work for elitedesk 800 g2 tower?
