So jealous.. What resolution are you rendering at? im trying to hammer out a 1000x1000pxl, 500 frame animation with my 1080ti and to clean up all the noise, its taking roughly 2 min per frame... beating the shit out of the card lol...

Check out this video if you haven't already.

Scratch that, I can't find the simplify thing in 2.9 they must of changed it to default somewhere or moved it.

So, I was looking for this Blender Denoising "OptiX" in 2.9 that everyone was talking about... This is the low samples results. you might need to open picture in new tab and fullscreen.

4K eh, nice and fast! Send me your dishes file, Id like to try and render it and see how fast I can get it using Fstorm.

I know we are comparing apples and oranges but with Fstorm renderer at 4k and 1013 render samples its taking me 16min to render one of my scenes. Do the settings on the right look similar to blender?

Btw , what is your gpu max temp after a good long render?

I did a 16K render of the dishes in 16mins 22secs the temps were 53c the boost clock was over 2000MHz. I would give you the Dishes file but it would just show up pink for you.

((16K Dishes Image)) Denoising "OptiX" 256 samples
