Hey guys
i recently bought a 460GTX video card.
However, i feel like lagging when i was playing SC2..

Here are my computer combinations:-
-Acer F690GVM motherboard
-AmD Phenom(tm) 9500 quad-core 2.20GHz.
-2GB DDR2 Rams
- Msi GTX460 Hwak video card.

AM i in a bottle neck?
If so what should i upgrade?

THank you for the suggestions.:dots::dots::clap:

if you overclock? thats the cpu to get at the moment.

mate it to your fav board maker's offering, anywhere from about 150 and up are quite nice featured. ud3/4 from giga, and so on.

Even though it is on the less expensive side 8GB i think is excessive if all you do is gaming. Hell you could get away with a 2500 as again overclocking just for games such as stacraft you wont notice any improvement. Overclocking and 4+GB is ram is mainly for non-standard usages such as protein folding, encoding, etc which really use the full potential of the cpu and need that much ram.

I agree about the fact that 8GB is a little overkill, but we got to buy RAM when the price is low, and this is the right time!

I seen somewhere on DIGITIMES that the RAM prices (silicon) might go up in a few months.

I'd just say, that it SEEMS like a good idea to grab 8GB is you're building a new Sandy rig right now...
