Hello all, I've been trying to figure this out for hours and hours and I'm at my braking point.

I am trying to configure a DAP-1522 with my D-Link DSL-2470B Router so I can use the DAP-1522 on my Network. Because at the moment it is not set up to know the password of my Network.

The problem is I can not connect to the DAP-1522 on the provided IP address "192.168.0.50" or "http://DLINKAP" and it is driving me crazy. I have done everything I can think of so I'm hoping you guys can help me out here.

I have set my IP address to 192.168.0.10/24 (255.255.255.0) and Default Gateway to 192.168.0.50 and checked it with "ipconfig" and it is all correct. The DAP-1522 is connected to my PC via a CAT5 LAN cable and connected to the power.

I have also tried turning off all anti-virus firewalls and the like.

So very very annoying please help!

who's your ISP aslo what version of dap1522 to check firmware of unit

stock dap1522 Firmware 1.3 112/28/2010 fix Closed a publicly disclosed potential vulnerability

dap1522 revB Firmware 2.01 09/22/2011 fix Guest Zone disable by default

try hooking only dap1522 (AP mode) to computer and reboot then run ipconfig look at defaultgateway for address

mite be ISP firmware on unit...... hold reset button 55 seconds bring to factory settings

Thanks mate, I had an issue with a faulty SSD so I won't be able to try this until I have completed the RMA. But if more information helps, It is a stock DAP-1522 bought from a store not ISP so it would be Factory settings and the original firmware, I don't have access to it to check at the moment but I'm pretty sure it's the first. Also I have reset it, I will give what you've suggested a shot when I can.

Appreciate the help mate.
