I have a set of cablemod cables here that I had bought for my Corsair AX1200i back in 2017
That PSU died in 2021 and when I RMA'd it they sent me back an HX1200i which I think is in the wife's machine right now and I have just an HX1200 in mine that I bought while I waited for the RMA. When I got the replacement I ended up just swapping all the cables because I was a bit unsure of compatibility and moved on.
Now I'm finally aiming to finish this build and I'm looking at these cables and trying to make sense of Corsairs compatibility chart. The current table of theirs only seems to cover the AXi 1600 model which is different (I think)
what confuses me here is there's an HXi and HXi 2022 on the table and it's unclear how to tell them apart?
But looking at the legacy table, I'm pretty sure the cables I had for my AX1200i are compatible with the current HXi1200
I narrowed down the relevant part of the table though and it looks like it might be the same cables for both the HX1200 and HX1200i I have here, depending on if the HX1200 non i is gold or platinum which I'm not sure, worst case I do a swap with the wifes machine right
I dug out my email from the cablemod order and it states the following which seems align

Just looking for someone to sanity check my conclusions in case I'm asleep at the wheel here, but at the very least, my old cable mod set should work with the HX1200i I have if they don't work with the regular HX1200 I have here if it's the platinum model rather than gold
