Canadian Online component retailers (List)

This one's been popping up on Shopbot recently-ish: https://www.gamercan.com/ Not really sure if they are good/bad, but generally seem to have competitive pricing. They list a Toronto address, so don't think they're affiliated with any others.

I'd like to hold off from adding them to the list until somebody actually claims to have used them.

Added.

Not sure if this is the best place or not, but....

I didn't want to buy a HDD from Amazon (as google still shows issues with packaging, specifically the lack thereof), so I submitted a price match yesterday at Mike's. Their listed price was absurdly high, today I was told that Amazon's price was "too far below cost" and that the best Mike's could do was a comical $35 more expensive than the competition; which (as of today ??) included a "sale" at Memory Express that matched Amazon's price.

So much for Mike's promise to beat a competitor's price by 10% of the difference. Looks like Memory Express will be my new store of choice... in a few years when I need new hardware. :haha:

Haven't had any issues yet... if I recall, it comes with those plastic holders to "suspend" the drive within the box and the box is only just big enough to fit it. Possibly some of them have come within another box full of tight fit foam too. Definitely not just a loose drive banging around in a box or in bubble wrap though. It's become by go-to for HDDs though since I usually need/want them in a pinch and I can get same-day/next-day

Not sure they belong on the list yet, but I ordered from Channel Electronics last week. No emails sent until it shipped which was a bit suspect. Ordered Jan 24, shipped Jan 29, arrived today. They were selling this Cyberpower UPS at USD MSRP ($279) but equal in CAD, lowest I could find. Everywhere else was $320+

Some fulfilment centres no longer use boxes, apparently. :shok: If Amazon had the best price, I would have ordered from them.

In any event, the time from ordering to returning home with the drive was ~2 hours; would have been faster had I noticed the phone message from Memory Express.

Never gotten any like that...wow. NCIX used to just bubble wrap and throw in a box if I remember correctly, that would probably be the "worst" I've got.

Actually kept the packaging for my most recent WD Red 6TB, thick cardboard box with the plastic pieces to suspend the drive. And then it was inside another Amazon box with the usual air bags.

Bumping this up to see if members have any new online resources, and to ask if I should include a small section for 3D printer supplies (mostly filaments).
