Any extra fees?: shipping cost of dead drive
Wait time: Drive shipped Nov 07/2007
Details: - 3rd of 5 36GB Raptor drives purchased to go bad.
- this RMA found WD to be out of stock. Just got the replacement drive Nov.12 - they sent a WD800ADFS
Satisfaction: 5

Your low satisfactory rating cannot be because they sent you an upgraded drive dude. You sure you just aren't unhappy that 3 of 5 36gb's have died? WD RMA is the best it comes. Your 100% wrong even if this is a matter of opinion.

It amazez me the amount of band wagon jumpers on here lol. As soon as someone gives a well known company a less then average score someone comes and rips then a new butt hole. Calm down, kiddies..

Company Name: Kingston
Product: DataTraveler DTI 8GB
Warranty Period: 5 years
Date purchased: 2008
Date RMAed: 2009
Where it was sent to: California, US
Ease of RMA: 10
Any extra fees?: No. They paid both way shipping for FedEx 2 day express
Wait time: 6 days
Details: I called them about my USB has stopped working. We determined that it is defective. (I think it broke because I stepped on it, but I'm not sure if I did step on it) They sent me the waybill and customs paper for me to print and I went to ship it. They paid both way shipping, and it was $48 each way... I hope companies get a BIG discount for shipping. Also, no receipt was necessary.
Satisfaction: 10. I love Kingston products for their excellent price and performance level far beyond what the price and specs suggests. After this I am officially Kingston for life!

Company Name: Razer
Product: Razer Barracuda headset
Warranty Period: 1 year
Date purchased: January 2007 IIRC
Date RMAed: March 30th, 2008
Where it was sent to: USA, New York, somewhere in the north end
Ease of RMA: 3
Any extra fees?: $20 shipping there
Wait time: 6 weeks
Details: Terrible experience. The barracudas have a manufacturing defect which leads to a screw falling out and the ear cup falling off. It took me forever to get an RMA number and the emails were VERY slow. The worst part? The same problem happened with the replacement in under a month.
