From what I've seen, XFX has a better warranty with the double lifetime.

Hands down that would be a winner for me. You can get a 4870 from them, too!

Company Name: Gigabyte
Product: MA790GP-DS4H
Warranty Period:
Date purchased: Feb 14th 09
Date RMAed: Feb 16th 09
Where it was sent to: USA, California, City of Industry
Ease of RMA: 9
Any extra fees?: Just shipping $30 Express
Wait time: 3 weeks
Details: Board died after 2 days, I flashed the bios in that time and it was successful. However I learned afterward that doing so voided my warranty. I sent the board in anyway cause I had nothing to lose.
Satisfaction: 9, board was repaired and sent back really quickly for having to go to the states and back. Glad gigabyte steps up to keep their customers happy.

Awhile ago we had an issue with Logitec headphones

'Phones with were bought a month before on special by daughter but she had lost receipt and local store wouldn't exchange it.

The Logical Support support wanted pictures of it and numbers

ALL the usual road blocks to providing a replacement set:punk:

After all that, which I did provide, they wanted me to ship it back at my cost(yeah the value of the product and then some)to the US

No Way. Good money after bad.

I had said I would ship it within Canada.

Finally they agreed to send 'phones here....that was months ago..never saw a thing ever.

As far as I am concerned Logitec can shove them up their +++ (keyster)

Last two input devices have NOT been Logitec:haha:

If thats the way they want to play....I just go buy a competitors stuff:biggrin:

Even most recently with Asus P5B motherboard.
Sure they'll send you an RMA for it.
No problem RMA number through e mail BUT by the time you ship it down to the Staes
that costs you about\at least $20 bucks Canadian.
Asus suggest Fed Ex.
Then you wait and you never know whats coming back plus its an old board nowadays anyway.
Nothing wrong with old but
They have an RMA facility right in GTA Area but that would be to easy to issue RMA to there for Canadian customers
Motherboard RMA's have States code.
Thats one of the reasons I won't personally spend anymore than I have to for computer stuff.

Date purchased: Sept. 06
Date RMAed: Feb 09
Where it was sent to: n/a
Ease of RMA: 10+
Any extra fees?: n/a
Wait time: 2 weeks
Details: Called Microsoft Canada, tech support answer in LESS THEN 1 min. Ask my name and Phone #. Product ID. Then tell him what's wrong with the mouse and what I did tried. He is very very nice and helpful, no stupid question ask. He said will send me a replacment mouse with the latest similar model since mine is EOL.
Checked instock in their warehouse. Few days later emailed me with a tracking # with details of what model is my new mouse. NO NEED to return the defective mouse. Around 2 weeks later, got a brand new wireless mouse. No custom fee problem, I guess they prepared an invoice with $0 value for RMA. Can't think of anything is bad except it takes around 2 weeks.
World class EXCELLENT service.:thumb:
Satisfaction: 10+++:clap:
