Here is the link to the 200 page thread at OCN. There is alot of good information regarding the specs and an outline of the risks associated with buying. The only thing you need ontop of what comes in the box is a generic power cable as the cable from the power brick to wall uses the European style socket.
Overall I feel that the risk of a faulty product is no higher than buying a 27a850d or u2711 here in NA. But in case of a faulty product there is more hassel involved in getting a replacement. The sellers do seem easy to work with though so in case of a defective product(like standard practice a few dead pixels does not qualify as defective) I think they would send you a replacement, but shipping is on you.
I might give this a shot, although I might buy a vesa mount if I'm not satisfied with the stand.
