It has been delayed until September.

Frankly I am fine with it. They get the time they need to polish it up and I get the time to hope for maybe next gen cards to show up and rebuild before the release.

I have no issues with them delaying it either. They delayed Witcher 3 and that was for the best too.

You mean the downgrade in fidelity because consoles were too underpowered? The finished product looked nothing like that E3 hype trailer.

2077 isn't getting delayed because of bugs or 'polishing the game'. It's getting delayed because of SJW "gaming journalists". They cried (as they usually do) about the lack of gender diversity and pronouns and they are "fixing it".

Gives me more time/room for upgrading my system, but also sad because it's the only game i've got on my radar for 2020 so far

I'm fine with it taking longer, as long as they put out a polished product at release. Witcher 3 had some issues at launch but was pretty stable on release (especially compared to the offerings by Bethesda and Bioware for their RPGs of late).

It really feels like there's been a lull of stellar RPGs since the wild hunt. I enjoyed the Outer Worlds, but it's not quite in the same tier as DA:O, Skyrim, W3, etc.

Surprised this hasn't been pointed out already; likely everyone knows :D

Another delay until November. No biggie, especially considering COVID-19 restrictions impacting working conditions, and it looks to be fixed for Nov.

More importantly, new gameplay content, info, and videos released:

New trailer NSFW
Netflix parallel series - didn't know about this at all
Night City Wire - Episode 1 - in depth discussions of trailer, etc.

Game press got to play four hours of gameplay and there are lots of YouTube videos, some with commentary, some not. Spoilers in those so be warned.

I don't know if I'm "adult" enough to play this one lol but sure looks like they did a stunning job!

I have been joking with one of my co-workers that we'll both end up beating this game in 2025 due to how vast/large it'll be and our limited time to put into a game like this.

I am still looking forward to this and will try to give it the time I can when it does come out. I may actually break with tradition in playing games like these on the hardest difficulty first just to get through it a tad faster. My Witcher 3 first play through was on Death March and it took me a while (but very rewarding) to beat it.

Thanks for the NSFW addition moderator. I honestly didn't think of that.

I'm a chicken these days. I find I am playing more games or normal to get through the story... getting lazy in my old age I guess!
