My wife's looking for an affordable Bluetooth headset with a boom mic. Budget about $50. She wants to use it for general use (mostly podcasts), but also for teams meetings for work.

Any recommendations?

She's already got a few pairs of earbuds - a cheaper brand, and also a pair of Samsungs. She's looking for Over the Ear headphones, probably more to have phone conversations.

Budget could be upped a bit if it buys a decent headset. The point is more that she doesn't need top end equipment, but I also don't want her to have the crap she usually buys.

Costco used to have a good price on Razer Kraken's (not the X, which is much worse) with an extendable boom. IIRC they were around $50-60 in store. I haven't looked since then, but worth checking? If you find them, that's a really solid deal.

HyperX Clouds aren't anything special, but they're cheap and effective

Astro A10's are slightly over your budget, but they go on sale a lot and have an excellent mic, if only a mediocre sound profile in the headset.

If you can find them on sale, the HyperX Cloud III is an absolutely stellar headset at their often $70-80 sale price. But at full price they start to get lost in the competition. Although still solid performers.

you can find some refurb / refreshed Sony WH-CH720N for about $100 off of Best Buy.
