Dear all

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and look forward to reading your replies.

I was set to buy a new case and in my mind I was set for the CM 690 II its features : Price is unbeatable anywhere and I reall like the allignment of the HDD trays and how you can remove them and also the all black interior and such.

My only gripe and this is important to me is that I want a sidewindow so I can see all my components inside as I intend to make it look really nice and wont be able to see my work. I heard that there are windowed versions but the window isnt very large and they tend to be much more expensive.

The price for this version is around £50 and that is the amount I am looking to spend on a new case so can you make any suggestions?

Thank you

I am an owner of the Cm 690 II Advanced and I purchased the side window about three months after i bought the case. I think that the window shows off enough of your components and I only paid $22 CDN tax included for the window.

Here's some pictures of my case with the window.

I personally have the CM 690 II, and i love it. My initial response to having no side window was to buy the one separately, but didnt like the fan cutout. perhaps consider modding it yourself, or take a look at the CM storm, has side window and is fairly similar interior to the 690 II!

don't forget there's a green nvidea version of the 690 that comes with a window or at least did in the original nvidea 690 version.
