Had someone bail out on a build and debating if I should just finish building the system entirely and list or might just be easier to move the combo.

9800x3d
X870E Crosshair Hero
RTX 5090 reference model
32gb GSkill Trident Z RGB 6400mhz
Thermalright Assassin X 120 V2 Plus

if everything is still sealed...then what you paid minus the tax. it's still worth full retail but saving on the taxes should clear it out ASAP I'd think.

that x870e crosshair hero is a REALLY expensive MB, but MemEx has a very comparable bundle basically getting the ram for free.

It's not the end of the world, can always sell things but have a few setups on the go and don't feel like sitting on the cash.

Other than the CPU parts aren't "bnib" just purchased type. Some of them are a few months old, nothing sealed since it was basically half built.

Is $4800 a reasonable spot?

Thats the thing, here in my town the prices people ask must include the tax they paid on top of it lol. Insanity.

But in this situation.. it just sucks. I would sell your personal rig and migrate to that one lol..

It's all "unused" though since it's not in a case and completed?

$4800 sounds reasonable, but selling the GPU separate would go quicker.

I think that board/CPU/RAM combo is going to be a harder sell as that board is really overpriced for what it is (but I'll preface that with I tried to convince myself to buy it but ended up with the ROG Strix instead)

Uhh...ahhh...yeah.... My setup is identical with better ram and a tuf 5090 lol. The reference card actually came from my build since they wanted to save a few dollars.
