Well my cousins computer doesn't seem to be posting. Well I haven't looked at it yet but he was telling me that everythign powers on, but theres no display and no beeps or anything. Im thinking its the motherboard, cuz from the asus website it doesn't look like it supports c2d. The motherboard is the asus P5SD2-X and heres the link for asus http://http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?modelmenu=1&model=807&l1=3&l2=11&l3=240&l4=0. So I'm thinking thats the culprit, but I'm no expert so just wanted a second opinion.

Nope.It just said 'c2d'

:haha:

However , if yah look at the support link there ,the p5sd2-x doesnt support any core 2's.....It's a socket 775 pentium4/celeron board.
