Confused on which motherboard to buy. B550 AORUS PRO or X570 AORUS ELITE?

Same on a MSI x570 Gaming Edge wifi, it isnt like they are spinning up constant like NF4's were back in the day.

The one thing I still miss about the crosshair 4 extreme was having the full coverage waterblock for the motherboard. No fan at all to worry about.

moving from pci-express 3 -> 4 brought the fans back but it seems most of them are fairly quiet. But what is going to happen when the mainstream jumps up to 5.

Getting the ASRock Rack B550 when they become available.
Fans no problem for me, I’ve got 3 x 12k rpm front to back in a 1U loud as a vacuum.

I just need the AMD Zen 3 w/ the new cache design.

Having PCI 3.0 x 4 on the NVMe M.2 is faster than my apps will use too.

To me Less Is More.
