discussion Corsair 2500D quick take by HWC

HWC did a quick take on the new Corsair 2500D mATX case. I'm not calling this a review because there's no thermal performance test at all.

TLDR, too expensive for what it is, fit and finish is a tad disappointing. My opinion is that the wood trim looks like some cheap floor board glue on to the case.

I'm not really likely the wood additions to any of the cases I've see lately. The mix of materials is sometimes a good thing, but it isn't something I'm interested in for computer cases.

Yeah, I watched that vid, and although I like the look, for the most part, those "wood" panels looked pretty damn cheap.

The 2500X glass version seem interesting but I'm not a RGB person so not personally interested. Also, how much is Corsair going to charge compare to LanLi O11D Mini is the question. I'll wait for GN to test them if they plan on testing them.

I'd really like to see Mix of Metal and Carbon Fiber done right on a case, that is more my thing. Not a fan of cheap wood on a case TBH.
