Greetings all. I haven't posted a build log since the old "Green Machine" from over a decade ago. Apart from a few fans and a few other tidbits, this will be my new build. Just like the Green Machine of olde, the case will be getting a paint job both inside and out.

What's the use case for the new machine. I notice you got some higher end parts except for the 3050.

I got the case used for a steal and the 3050 is a carryover from my current 4790K rig which was wayyyyy overdue for replacement. Motherboard and gpu are the only brand new parts. The sound card was had for a steal used and all other parts were either open box or on sale open box. I shaved hundreds of the build price. I'll upgrade the gpu when funds permit. Took months to get all these parts. Old rig will be an upgrade for My HTPC.

The last two Saturdays resulted in all the white being completed. Sub-chassis, drive mounts, reservoir stand and cable cover which is shown still black.

More progress. All parts that needed to be disassembled and painted in batches have received primer, base coat and a few have received the iridescent black top coat. Sorry for the crap photos. Now it's on to outer case reassembly. Prep, primer, base coat and top coat to follow. Hoping to get much of that done this week.
