OK, just for fun, let see what kind of stupid ads you can find on FB and CL. Must include a screenshot of the ad but with the seller's details blacked out.

This seller claim you won't even notice the crack! And $150 CAD is a steal compare to the $200 USD original price! The cheapest replacement screen I could find on Aliexpress is $70USD + $106 USD shipping to Canada.

Nah I didn't write back. If I start doing that I will turn into a crazy person picking on all the weird stuff on there. If the screen was $25 CAD pickup and the replacement is $100 CAD out the door, then I would consider it. I was very surprised at the shipping cost. Even shipping it to a relative's apartment in Hong Kong was $70 USD.

Not sure if this qualifies but the seller wants $1050 for a SandyBridge-E combo. A modern R7-2700 should be able to beat this thing but it wins in terms of PCI-E lanes.

That is actually a Haswell CPU. Its the board that is worth most of that money. If you look at sold listings on Ebay, it sells for ~$500 regularly.

True ECC RAM isn't cheap. But I don't understand why it's smart to spend that much on an older platform when a non HEDT can out perform it these days.
