Crappy Used Computer Parts Ads

🙄🙄🙄
Well aware! Haha

This is what I was asking about. Why is a soldered 4gb + regular 8gb = 8gb dual channel?

Because the system will pair the 4GB soldered with 4GB of the 8GB stick and treat that as 8GB dual channel (and presumably first to use) while using the leftover 4GB from the 8GB stick as single channel (presumably as a last resort).

So like I thought, the "extra" ram only serves as a bit more capacity, but actually slows down the dual channel pair.

Still glad I match ram stick to the number of channels the CPU has, and always match sticks together. Always have. Ive seen people toss in 8gb kits with 4gb kits and similar, and am glad I never went that route.

Some contradiction in the ad, list all the specs but at the bottom it say only include case, PSU, cables, GPU, and motherboard. So does it come with RAM and storage? Still wants $950 for a 8th gen PC with a 2080Ti. You could build a new AM4 rig with a 9060XT for similar price.

Listing Price - $2100 OBO

Please do not aggressively lowball and please research if you do not believe my pricing is reasonable! My Quality of parts will be higher end with more reliability then an average prebuilt which focuses on quantity over quality.

GPU - Still rated as High end tier in the market for reliability
CPU - is a relatively new GEN

Reason for selling as you may notice in one photo I just built a brand new $6000 system and I do not need this one. The one I am selling has been throughly taken care of since building it.

- Brand new Windows install + Key
- Full factory wipe + partitioned 3 times as well as cleared with Asus BIOS tool
- Brand New AIO installed less than a month ago and have had no major use since
- I have almost every original piece of packaging including the PC Box
- NEVER ONCE Overclocked so the parts are not worn down

I built this brand new during the crash of the market when the 30 series dropped and it has been reliable ever since helping with Competitive gaming, Graphic Designing, film editing including high resolution film rendering using Davincii Studio

If you have any worries or questions please ask and I will answer to the best of my knowledge I want you to feel it is a good purchase!

Wow they guy is so confident that he priced it right to tell people to research pricing. Let me try.

  • 7800X3D + GB B850M Aorus mATX + Corsair 32GB DDR5 white combo = $875 from Canada Computer (feel like this combo went up in price)
  • Corsair Frame 5000D RS ARGB ATX case + Corsair RM850 White combo = $390 from Canada Computer
  • Thermalright Frozen Infinity ARGB 240mm AIO = $84 from Amazon
  • Thermalright TL-C12CW-S ARGB 120mm fans 3 pack = $42 from Amazon
  • Asus Prime RTX 5070 = $769 from BB or Amazon
  • Win 11 Pro key = $20 from Techspot
So total of about $2180 before tax and shipping for a new system with a CPU that runs better than a 9900K and a 2 generation newer GPU, granted it's not a hell lot faster. Looking back at the 9900K review, it's only a tad faster than AMD 2700X.

Usually not a huge fan of NZXT as all their early cases were just plastic garbage at the very bottom of the list of quality so usually paid very little attention to their case releases but the one in that add looks like it could convince me otherwise
