this is prob from the new egg bundle how to get taken down by the FBI/SS wasnt this part of the Exploding PSU Line that newegg was selling in bundles to get rid of em when gpus were only sold in bundles.

What a Superb... ripoff? Yep, ripoff.

Reminds me of the very early days of custom PC PSUs. The rule of thumb was, if it's named after an animal, it'll probably nuke itself. "Shark", "Tiger" and similar. Can't remember if those were the brands or model names, but I had three of them "explode" on me in those years. Explode as in, the caps inside would pop and/or suddenly spew nasty nasty smoke everywhere. Good ol days hah

wish id taken pic of the Silver PSU i got instead of the evga 1600watt id bought yrs ago it was a Full Silver Kingspec mining psu lol like flight of the navigator silver >< was 2000w im like hmm so they have chosen violence lol.

My Antec psu did that, accompanied with flames and a burn mark on the wall not just a horrible smell.

As it turns out, I messaged the guy, just to give him a heads-up, letting him know that a non-modular PSU of that size typically sells for ~$30 - $40, so he changed the price on it to $50, and replied that he'd take $40 for it..... the way he worded it, sounded as though he thought I wanted it. (n)
