Yeah, the M4 was one of the first mainstream grade SSDs to break the $1.00/GB mark ($0.98/GB) without IRs/MIRs

If I wasn't short on cash I would've picked up one of these myself.

Because they probably are. Marvell has released a new controller which is used in the OCZ Vertex 4 as anandtech found out : Marvell supplies the silicon and Indilinx worked on the firmware AnandTech - OCZ Confirms Octane and Vertex 4 use Marvell based Silicon
