inCrysis - Guide to the game Crysis - Crysis Patch v1.1 Released

Well I am not sure if it's going to fix the issues I had with the game (like rattling guns and objects stuck in walls) but here it is at 139MB. I'll be DL-ing later tonight. Haven't played since the 1st time I beat it so I think it may be time to fire it up again. Maybe some optimizations would be nice to get a few more FPS with a bit more detail would be alright by me though.

I've already downloaded it, but I can't get it to install. Keep getting a "1334" error, even when running as Administrator. If anybody else gets it to install on a Vista x64 system, I'm all ears.

From tweakguides

Update: Some users are having problems installing the patch, such as seeing Error 1334 - this appears to be a bug in the installer. The main solutions include changing your Crysis intro movie files back to their original names and location before patching, and also uninstalling and reinstalling Crysis and then attempting to patch again.

Hmm... never thought about the intro movies interfering. Just like everyone else, I renamed mine so I wouldn't have to watch them every time I booted up... I'll give that a try tomorrow, before I resort to an un/reinstall.

I had the same prob MPG. I renamed them and the install went fine :thumb: But as for any performance increase...pffft. I lost less than 1FPS w/the patch. I am running the "Very High on the Cheap" tweakguides hack. My CPU & GPU are at stock and I'm at 1680x1050.

Well, un/reinstall did the trick, for whatever reason. No appreciable difference in gameplay, but at least nothing stopped working.
