Canada Post Partnership | Instant In-person Verification is Now Live!
- March 27th, 2018

We are excited to announce the launch of instant in-person ID verification offered through our partnership with Canada Post and their Digital Proof of Identity product.

This new form of verification is done at a Canada Post retail outlet where you present the agent with a couple printed pages, or .PDF file on your device, that display your QuadrigaCX profile information and unique barcode generated by our system. To prove and verify your identity, the agent will scan the barcode and complete a series of checks that indicate you have provided government issued photo ID and proof of residence.

If you are still waiting for the documents you submitted for verification to be approved by our team internally, or if you had previously failed Equifax eID verification, you can now take verification into your own hands and complete it instantly at Canada Post.

To being the process, please login to your QuadrigaCX account, navigate to the Verify page and follow to the steps to generate the .PDF with barcode to present to the Canada Post retail agent.

Heh... it's hardly a partnership....

Canada post has been offering ID verification as a service to businesses for quite some time. :)

CRA won't be far behind now...

Dont see how this changes anything as far as CRA goes.... Quad either in/out was/should always have been assumed to be reporting, just cuz they dont make headlines like Coinbase handing over account details. If they're still in business one should assume they're cooperating w/regulators.
