I'm looking for a good PSU to power my system. My budget is $100

This is the system.

CPU: Intel E2180 - Goal overclock is 3.0GHz (May upgrade to a Q6600 at a later date)
HSF: Tuniq Tower 120
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
Memory: Mushkin HP2-6400 DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 2.1v
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon X1600 XT 256MB GDDR3 PCI-E (May upgrade to a 2600XT or 8600 GT/GTS or X1950 Pro)
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 250GB 7200rpm SATAII
Optical Drive:Samsung SH-S203B Black SATA DVD±RW DL 20X8X16
Cooling: 2x120mm LED case fans
USB Devices: 3

Modular or non-modular?

Does not matter whether it is modular or not. Having the cables sleeved is more important.

I was looking at the Corsair, the review from Johnny Guru was very good. I like the fact that when they tested it the Corsair VX 550W it exceeded the rated power.

Anyway, I'm impressed with the VX550W. She puts out 556W at a load that calculated by A*V for all rails driven (at spec voltages) should have been 548W. Neat, it actually exceeds it's rating which is a refreshing change. - Johnny Guru
