At a car show these publish Dyno's are treated as branging rights among other things.I don't understand why this is entertainment. There's a chance the vehicle may hop off the dyno or fail. This is some Final Destination shit.
Turbo Chevy Silverado Launches Driveshaft Into Crowd During Dyno Pull
Guys, please don’t stand behind a fat-tire drag racer when it’s doing a full power pull.www.thedrive.com
My ____ is faster than your ____
nu uh i'm pushing 1000hp probably you don't stand a chance
prove it
in so many places they have make the race track completely too expensive, torn them out, let them fall out of maintenance etc that it is Dyno pulls or street racing as the only available options. Trucks, SUV's, Crossovers are banned from Auto-X here for example and many other racing events so drag strips are often the only option.
For something like that truck here is Edmonton the only option would be friday night street legals being the only drag strip near by and banned from most other held events. In Calgary I'm pretty sure the drag strip is gone and the nearest race track south of Red Deer I think was thousands in membership let alone track time (Rocky Mountain something). People are not going to come up from Calgary on a friday evening just to make a couple passes at Castrol/Rad.
I'd rather them spend $50 to make a Dyno pull at a car show then booting around street racing.
